I'm going to take some time for quiet introspection so I can get some of this emotional baggage under control and be ready to enjoy India!
I'll be back in America by the 20th and I'm sure I'll have lots to say :)
I plan to keep a journal while I'm on my trip.
I hope you have a wonderful trip & I can't wait to hear about it when you come back! Safe Travels!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great trip! I depart for my first trip to India tomorrow... Lots to think about and get excited about. I look forward to hearing how your trip goes!
ReplyDeleteWhen foreigners visit India their impression usually borders on the extreme. There are those who say, its poor, dirty & corrupt. and those who say India is a hope for this world & a way out of the materialistic rat race. Sadly a 71 year old American national burned himself on the 26th (republic day) in a remote monastery on not being granted citizenship. I am eagerly waiting to see your response.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time sweetie pie....

Have a great trip! Pack light, you'll need less than you think. :)
ReplyDeletehave a safe trip. Now just calm down a bit; you are going to a land of contrasts, not just a land diversity. One tip.Tell the cabby to 'slow down or else i will get off', i always do that and once actually I got out of the taxi and took another one.
ReplyDeleteWow, India in a week, huh? I just know you are gonna love India. Keep an open mind and don't stress the small challenges during your trip. I can't wait to read your reflections on your journey when you return. Shubh yaatra! Tumhaari yaatra mangalmay ho! God bless!
ReplyDeleteNamaskar!
ReplyDeleteWelcome. I too am eager to read your impressions.
