Ela left a blog suggestion on my last post and I've been reading though the posts and enjoying them very much.
This is the blog of a white woman who lives in India and has for quite a long time. This post in particular was interesting to me because she talks about her experiences with Transcendental Meditation (TM)
This is the same type of meditation and the same teacher who started the organization I grew up in down its path!

Thanks Aamba (blush).Today only I realized that i spell your name wrongly.Sorry yaar.
ReplyDeleteWell, the consensus seems to be that I'm the one spelling my name wrong! I've had more than one comment that it should be Amba. Oh well, too late!
ReplyDeleteWell the truth is it is Amba.
ReplyDeleteIn hindi it is pronounced as Amba not Aamba.
ReplyDeleteAamba I think you will like this blog-1000 petals. It is not India centric but rather spritual and philosiphical.
ReplyDeleteI've always heard it pronounced with a long "a" on the front, but I'm not sure the people I was listening to are experts on that! So, oh well.
ReplyDeleteI'll take a look at that blog, thanks for another suggestion.
Aamba your name is pronounced with a small a.Anyway the blog i suggested has aricles on love vs true love .
ReplyDeleteOoo, love topics are very pertinent to me right now!
